Now that 17 years have elapsed following the release of their first album and with the band safely removed from the intrusive eyes of the major labels, Cracker's ninth studio album, Sunrise in the Land of Milk and Honey, is as engaging and enjoyable as anything they have released since Kerosene Hat 7/

Aug 28,  · referencing Sunrise In The Land Of Milk And Honey, CD, Album, FTN The voice is there, the drive is there, the lyrics are there, but this is not the Cracker I grew up on. Aside from the songs “Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out With Me,” and “Darling One,” this release could easily be mistaken for a new Clash, if not Green Day album/5(34).

Let's start the end times right now." I Could Be Wrong has great transitions and rocks almost as well as Sweet Thistle Pie. Show Me How has the humor and sarcastic wit we expect from David. Friends, from Johnny's solo album, Palmhenge, is given new life as David duets with Patterson Hood from Drive By Truckers in a country buddies sort of way.
